Present day Government School Teachers

When I recall my days in 1980’s as a primary school Teacher, things and incidents that comes to my mind is how to teach, how to train , how to prepare the students to sit for the exam and so on. But situation is contrast now days compared to the 8oies and 90ies. Present day school teachers seems to be far more involve in entrepreneurship in office and in working environment, marketing their product and making extra money during school hours, vandalism has exceeded its number.

Teacher who has been teaching the minimum number of learners limit their involvement and comes to school like a baby doll and going back like a the same baby doll, but several Teachers burdened  with maximum number of students and packed Teaching hours without gap .Where these Teachers struggling with time to teach and to write lesson notes and to get the suitable teaching aids and marking students works.

Most of the Teachers relaxingly coming to school and relaxingly handling the limited and selected group of students. Something which cant be accepted is under one roof, different system and environment and situations Teachers and students encounter daily,  which can be seen very clearly.

The most relaxed teacher take their sweet time to beautify their corners in Teachers room and their table and the papers they deal with, such teachers hardly bothers about the students or how the students learn or what they have achieved in certain weeks or days. What they want is doing their paper nicely where else some teachers daily struggle with maximum number students and handling the most problematic students. Such schools unable to achieve and to produce results that can be proud of or to feel happy about.
