Malaysian Tamil School Teachers vs Tamil Nadu’s Educators
My visits to Tamil Nadu and visiting the institutions there not only opened my eyes and my mind, but also made me realize how important is ones culture and their religion. Tamil Nadu Teachers, lecturers and Professors, who ever in Education line especially ladies, either in private school or government school, college lecturers and university Professors whether, they are Christians, Hindus or Moslems, saree is the official attire and daily, worn by all the ladies. Malaysian Teachers’ , educators and those in education line hardly practice this custom. Even The Tamil school teachers can’t be seen tying saree on daily basis. On certain days either on Friday or if there is a special function in school only ladies wear saree to school.
