Thaipusam : Festival of the world.
Thaipusam is celebrated by Hindus around the Globe. Malaysia is the only destination in the world where this festival is celebrated in Grand scale. Hindus around the world gathered in Malaysia to celebrate this festival which falls in the month of Thai and in “Pusam” Natchathiram ( star). The foreigners, as far as from Australia, Indonesia, Thailand,Srilanka, India and from Europe come here to join in the celebration. This celebration is mainly to cheer “Lord Subramaniam”in the month of Thai in Hindu Calendar. In Malaysia, this festival is celebrated by all, even the non Hindus join in this celebration by helping in this festival.
