Something to Cherish

   A mother who waits for her baby to born, cherish the seconds the baby was born, the same feelings I encountered when several years ago , the project that I suggested applied nation wide and the best part is, it was launched at the place, I have been assigned to. The feeling is really great when I get the chance to observe, something I wanted for so long, happened in my presence and I dont have words to describe the emotions and the pride that, I'm experiencing.  

      Since young I adored those in uniforms, much more those Arm force officers and any one in defense line, I just fall in love with their confidence level and the maturity and the best part is the innocent heart of these group of people. Many of them have been my neighbors since young and few were my fathers good friends. I just adore their discipline, the way they carry them selves and how they have disciplined their kids.
         Only that I did not get the chance to be one of them in the same line, due to pampering and controlled by family members. This did not stop me from being involved or to share ideas , with my students and to inculcate patriotism in my teaching, where ever I have been assigned.

   If given a chance to teach the kids songs, my first choice is patriotic songs, from interest to more to be involved in  Nation building programms. I even went to one of the National service camp and shared my ideas and motivated the soft trainees, who were form 5 leavers, but when started my carreer in secoundry school, better opportunities I met  and at least my long time dream to expereince march past was fulfilled when I was a cadet police officer  in my school for  a year. Something else related to these rough activitries, that is long distance run. Being a long distance runner, for several years I participated in "Malaysian Civil Servants " sports, that is known as "MAKSA" met many Arm force, Police, and many Civil servants who participated in that sports nation wide, I represented my state for almost 4 years.Most of the officers mistaken me for an Arm force or a Police women, after seeing my performance. Even my body structure too, was to masculine for a women. Some of the Brigadiers were surprised, they asked me if Im from such such Brigade. I told them boldly that , I'm an educator and since young  I have been involved in long distant running.
     An achievement, which I will never forget in my life, is my first attempt as a "Maksak" runner in my team that particular year, if I'm not mistaken year 2010 or 2011 . I was  the only one in  my team to be in top 3. That is something, I really cherished, but that particular year, no special prizes or privileges were given for individual runner, other than the main Prize and medal.

    Im glad that God is really very kind to me by exposing various fields , people and skills, even  though I have already shared and shown my literary skills.
