The Principles with whom I work.

     Throughout  my teaching career, I worked  with several Principles  and severed in several districts. Among these principles two of them had made an impact and in my  career with their commitment, dedication and involvement in moulding the students characters and to nurture the students as quality learners. Today the students from these two school excel as well behaved  and successful individuals in life.

   Mr. Renganathan is the first Principle with whom I worked for almost 5 years. The most dedicated teacher and a humanitarian whom I’ve come across in my life. Not only the school was under his care , even the parents  approached him , when they need advice or help from him. He was more like a counsellor, head of the community and the most respected  person in the parents life. He served in that school for almost 10 years and had established well in that school and in the parents heart. His  last day in that school, he was surrounded by the parents and students who were in tears. The PTA Presented him a Pound worth of Golden ring to show him gratitude for his service in that school. During his years in that school , no child was left hungry, all the kids were fed nutritious meal and milk as a supplement given to each child percup. Though the school was small all the staff  and kids were taken good care by him, no one ever face hunger.

    Another man whom I realized like a legend and at the same time posses magnetism is Mr. Muniandy. The ex Principle who was appointed as  Tamil School Organizer at state level. Mr. Muniandy is one of the highly motivated teacher, who tries everything, from competition, storytelling, sports and Studies, which always comes first. During his days in Slim River Tamil school, He had the best set of teachers who were all-rounders.

      A very empathetic man, emotional, very loving and caring Principle . He wants the students to get good and quality meals, so the meals were prepared in the school compound under his care. All the students were served ample of food during recess and  almost 80 percent of the students excel in studies. Beside food, Milk was also provided for these kids everyday. Each kid will get a packet of Chocolate flavoured milk everyday. During Mr. Muniandys days in Slim River Tamil School almost every year, students will be participating  in Dramas, story telling competition and quiz at National level.The hindu recitation of songs and thevarams, at state level. A man who just wants the best for the students and  for the school. Sports is another activity Mr. Muniady focus on. He organized several health programmes and several district level competitions for the school students in Tg Malaim and Slim River area.Though today Mr. Muniandy is not with us, but his service and the quality products during his time, The students are most of them doing well, in life. Many doctors, dentist, engineers, accountants have been produced  by this great man. I mean the students during his time are all in Professional line and in the best of life.
